Academic background - Management (ISCTE + U. Católica + Harvard). Professional - Partner at Andersen + Partner at Deloitte + Other businesses entrepreneur (the most important is a 4* hotel).
How were you introduced to the world of the Portuguese tech industry?
Been invited to visit an Incubator and attend a presentation of tech start-ups and started as Business real Angel.
Walk me through your work and what you are doing now in the tech industry.
Full time dedicated to the management of BEEVERYCREATIVE (the first Portuguese 3D printer developer and manufacturer company).
What part of what you do, you love the most?
Evangelizing about the technology.
How do you think that your background and knowledge impact the way you approach your work in the Portuguese tech industry?
The global and strategic vision drives the way I make long term decisions. The experience on consulting helps to talk to different types of people and environments. The years of experience recruiting and making professionals grow taught me to build a team.
What advice do you have for young women that want to get into tech and don’t know where to start?
Visit Incubators, maker-spaces and fablabs. Read publications made by groups connected to those spaces.
Walk me through a day in your life as a Portuguese woman in tech.
As a Portuguese woman in tech, I wake-up very enthusiastic because every day we imprint change with 3D printing! I change from the boring bureaucratic tasks to the most exciting decisions about our future products.
